You have proven as real loyal followers and I sincerely hope to be able to give something back to you with this second version of New York City for the Sims 3.

I know that I promised to release a second version months ago, but it just didn't feel right to do so at that point of time. There are still so many things that I need to change and add to the city, but it is now time to share my current results with all of you. Please enjoy this project as much as I do!
I would be glad for any kind of feedback from your side, as I have by no means stopped working on the city. There are still quite a lot of bugs and there is so much empty space to be filled. New buildings are already under construction and I hope that I will be able to do some landscaping before the next version should be released. Hopefully, this will not take as long as it did this time.

ReplyDeleteI do have a question about the "optional Stuff" in the download: If I follow the directions and import those packages via s3pe and then for some reason I start a new world later and don't want those changes to affect my new world, how can I make sure my game is back to default?

Deletethe best way is to make a backup of the original files and then reimport them, if you don't want the custom ones anymore.

Yo when is 3th beta coming? And a view tips: on modthesims are now working ice cream stands, maybe nice to place on beaches and on streets etc, and can you also fill up the city with famous People living in new york? The most of them are already made by someone, and than you can made them with testingcheats all 5 star famous, i hope you working on a filled up city of sims, sims walking with dogs, cats in appartements etc, just some ideas to made new york more living, and i hope you also made functional mac donalds, kfcs etc, and new york taxis everywhere on the streets, and busses, speak you!

Horus, please provide new links to the download! I uninstalled/removed The Sims 3 several months back and didn't back anything up. I had this world too, along with all the CC, and really enjoyed it. I recently re-installed TS3 again and went to go download this and the links are broken! Please re-upload. Extremely disappointing!

ReplyDeleteHi, that was a fast response :) I am just looking through the files to check for any copyright issues. I think I used some textures from the Rockstar Game GrandTheftAuto IV for some of my deco buildings, maybe those are responsible for the files being taken down after some time. Let's hope I can solve this permanently.
