Spotlight: Subways

Thinking about a big city, one can imagine a lot of traffic. To avoid traffic jams (which are unfortunately not part of the game) your Sims should take the subway to reach their destination in time.

There will be subway stations all over the city and I am trying to place them according to real station's positions. For example you will find Times Square – 42nd Street, Rockefeller Center, City Hall or Wall street.

  4. Thanks for the link, I already knew this page but I haven't been there for a while. The skyscrapers will indeed fit well into the world, I will check them out.

I will be on vacation during the next two weeks so I will not be able to make a first version ready to upload until the second half of october. It will then be my primary goal to let you see what this is all about and upload an alpha version of the world as soon as possible. I do hope to recieve more of this very helpful feedback! Thanks a lot for contributing to all of you!

  5. This is really cool man. Keep up the good work. I'm less interested in it being a legitimate copy of New York and more in it being a really cool world based on New York with some extra creativity.

  6. As a New Yorker, I actually appreciate that you are taking the time to make the world as authentic as possible. I love going through the pics and seeing all the recognizable details. I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable once I'm able to explore in game. I agree with Manuel's post. A beta version would be nice.
